Brush car wash systems have been the one of the oldest and the trusted methods of car cleaning. Even though High pressure systems are out, there is still a liking for the brush type car wash systems.
In this system, the brushes envelope the vehicle as they move across it following the contour of the car. As the brushes move, they remove the had dirt and stains from the vehicle while rotating. The brushes are made up of soft nylon bristles which carry the dirt along with it. When the bristles move away from the vehicle, water which is sprayed on the brushes removes the dirt from the bristles. This is done so that the dirt on the bristles does not rub against the car surface while its rotation.
The horizontal brush which washes the front, top and the rear , follows the contour of the car. It senses its pressure on the car and if the pressure exceed beyond a preset limit, the brush moves upwards. The pressure of the brush is constantly monitored by a PLC at more than 1200 times a second making the system very safe and reliabe.
KKE Wash Systems has spent years in developing high pressure technology and an intensive research and development has gone into it, before it was release in the market.
Model KKE 300 is a fully automatic car wash system and the features are as follows. You can also add to the basic model by selecting the optional equipment.
| The structure is manufactured with heavy rectangular and square tubular sections (as per IS 4923 ), with modular design. The gantry travels on two rails mounted on the floor of the bay. The trolley h is driven by two geared motors. The control of the Trolley can be Automatic via the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) or Manual, using various selections on the Operator’s Panel. The Trolley carries various systems like soap, wax concentrates and it optically senses the vehicle and its dimensions |
| This is special spray arch, equipped with low discharge nozzles. The Pre Wash Arch sprays water initially over the vehicle to soak the hard mud stains, salt deposits, bird droppings, etc. |

Soap system sprays soap and chemical formulation on to the car surface. Soap spraying assists the high pressure washing and enhances the cleaning value. |
| A Stainless Steel pipe with Stainless Steel nozzles spray water onto the surface of car for easy removal of dirt. The water is supplied by a centrifugal pump in the Control and Pump house. The water also removes the dirt which adheres to the brushes. |

The top brush follows the contour of the car, washing front, top and rear of the vehicle. It is controlled through the PLC by sensing the pressure over the brush. The brush moves up and down using guided chain and sprocket assembly. As the gantry travels across the vehicle, the horizontal brush, rises or lowers to clean the vehicle surface. When the trolley reaches the end of the vehicle, the direction of rotation of the horizontal brush changes providing better cleaning action and control. |

Side brushes wash, front, sides and rear of the brush. The rotating brushes are freely suspended and move inward or outward according to the car dimensions automatically, through PLC. It is moved by transverse drive motor to wash the front and rear surfaces. The construction allows the sensing of brush pressure over the car surface, which maintains adequate contact with car surface. |

Wheel guides help to position the cars to be washed at correct place at the wash bay, hence ensuring safety of the equipment as well as the car. |
| Operators Panel is easy to use and understand, user interface panel. You can select desired wash program through selector switch on operator panel. You get information about working cycle, while the equipment is washing the car by using different programs, selected by the operator. The operator’s panel is easy to use and understand for any person. |
| KKE 300 series is computer controlled and gives you the versatility to accommodate smallest to the longest cars. It enables you to select wash program according to the level of dirtiness of the car, hence optimizing on everything; from electricity to time. The components used while manufacturing of control system, undergo a rugged quality control to ensure continuous and reliable service at your end. The control panel is made up of Stainless Steel / Powder Coated, to ensure long service life. The control offers travel speeds from 4m/min to 10 m/min |
Silicone wax is sprayed on the car surface. The silicone wax is sprayed all over the car, using special atomizing nozzles, after the washing cycle. Silicone wax formulation gives instant shine and protection to the car, in addition, it softens the hard rubber wipers and beading of the car . It is also water repellent and hence avoids staining of glasses due to droplet formation. Silicone wax is the best available wax till date and is available worldwide easily.
Triple foam wax, commonly known as Tri foam wax, which contains three colored wax which is sprayed on the vehicle. The foam created on the vehicle surface gives a sense of satisfaction to the customer, for which he is paying for. The triple foam wax is sprayed by special foam generating nozzles. The foam created on the vehicle surface is washed off by a high pressure pass.
Drying System consists of 4 high volume blowers, which follow the contour of the vehicle. The contour of the vehicle is optically sensed and the blower follows the contour of the vehicle. There are four blowers, two drying the sides and two for drying the top. The top blowers always maintain a safe distance from the car. The blowers are mounted on the moving gantry itself and you don’t need to build another station for drying operation.
An arch is installed at some distance from the wash bay. As the car moves through it, the blowers start automatically and remain ON for 60 secs (depends on local conditions) or till the car is moving through it. There are four blowers , two on the top and one on each side.
The Swiveling Under Chassis Wash System uses electro - pneumatic swiveling mechanism which continuously moves the nozzles. The swiveling results in, increase in the covered area and thus cleaning those hard to reach places. The under chassis wash system covers the complete length of the car. The Under Chassis wash takes place while the soap is sprayed on the vehicle and uses the same high pump, that is used by high pressure rinsing.
Fixed under chassis wash system contains a network of Nozzles which spray high pressure water and remove dirt. The under chassis wash system covers the complete length of the car. The crisscross network of nozzles increases the cleaning area.
This Swiveling Under Chassis Wash System is located at the entry point of the car wash bay. The under chassis wash system automatically senses the car and switches on the Water pump. This Automatic activation feature can switched off from the Operator’s Panel. Swiveling Under Chassis Wash System uses electro - pneumatic swiveling mechanism which continuously moves the nozzles. The swiveling results in, increase in the covered area and thus cleaning those hard to reach places.
Back lit display , displays the wash cycle which is in progress. The display is controlled by the PLC computer in the Central Control Panel. The display can be mounted any where near the equipment, so that the person washing his car can see the cycle which is in progress. The display is multi colored with logos and text representing the wash cycle. It also gives Red and Green signal, telling the customer, when to the enter the bay
In KKE 300 car wash system, there are many moving parts. This spares kit consists of most of the items which get worn off and may be needed to be replaced for providing uninterrupted service to your customers. It is always good to have spares rather than ordering them when they are actually required. With the spares kit, you’ll will able to avoid the downtime as you can replace the parts immediately.
