KKE 501 is a drive through truck wash system which can give you wash throughput from 20 - 60 vehicles per hour. The system can be modified for washing trucks, buses, mining trucks, milk tankers, Garbage trucks, Oil Tankers. The equipment is automatic in operation and is controlled by PLC (Programmable Logic Controller).
The system comes with arches which can be added as per the application. Ask KKE representative to suggest you the arch combinations to get the best wash performance.
KKE 501 Truck Wash Equipment : Standard Equipment Features
Parts of Equipment :
The structure is made of heavy rectangular and square tubular sections (as per IS 4923 ) which are painted with anti corrosive paint. The structure is stationary and the vehicles pass through it.
The water system consists of 3 High pressure pumps. The nozzles which are made of stainless steel 304 are used to spray water on the vehicle. All the pipes on the equipment are made of Stainless Steel grade 304. |
The control system is housed in an Powder Coated Box. The equipment is controlled by Programmable Logic Controller. The photo-sensors detect the presence of the vehicle and PLC starts the washing program accordingly.
The operator controls are mounted on the front of the control panel; which lets the user to operate the equipment . The equipment can work in two modes AUTOMATIC / MANUAL . In unattended mode, as soon as the system detects the vehicle the wash program starts immediately. The pumps switch ON automatically and when the vehicle leaves the wash bay, the pumps switch OFF automatically. In Manual mode , the operator can switch ON each pump , operate pneumatic cylinders individually. The manual mode is also very useful for fault diagnosing or routine checking of the equipment.
For safety of equipment and vehicles, the system provides signals to the vehicle driver when the equipment would be ready to take the next vehicle. The Traffic lights have the LED lights having high visibility and life.
Wheel guides help to position the cars to be washed at correct place at the wash bay, hence ensuring safety of the equipment as well as the car.
A bank of nozzles is placed at the entry point which is activated after sensing the vehicle. High Volume of water is sprayed from the bottom to clean the bottom area of the truck.
This arch is generally the first arch and sprays water on the vehicle to loosen the dirt. This also prepares the truck surface for better reaction of detergent on the truck.
The detergent spray arch sprays detergent or soap as per your requirements. The soap/detergent should have specific gravity close to that of the water. The detergent is sprayed from top and the sides.
12 banks of nozzles clean the truck surface. The nozzles are of 0 deg angle which maximize the cleaning effect with oscillation effect. The horizontal water bank changes its direction of impingement according to the truck .
28 rotating nozzles wash the sides and the top of the vehicle. The water is sprayed at 30-35 bar pressure through 0 deg nozzles.
One fixed hinged brush (1000 mm dia) is installed on both sides which wash the lower part of the trucks without getting obstructed by the rear view mirrors.
High volume of medium pressure water is sprayed on the wheel area to clean the wheels. This is specially suitable for mine trucks which get dirty from the bottom and sides.
Two vertical brushes are provided on hinged supports. The pressure of the brush is adjusted through pneumatic cylinder. Brushes are suitable for fleets with large vertical surfaces like container trucks, buses, etc.
This option comes with standard PE bristles of 1000 mm diameter which are of ‘x’ shape and are flagged at the ends.
This attachment is fixed on the vertical brush arch. The horizontal brush is used to wash the top portion of the vehicle. The brush is driven directly through inline gear box.
The horizontal brush is suspended and its height can be adjusted as per your fleet by rotating the ratchet drum assembly. The brush movement is guided by Teflon guided channels.
This arch uses medium pressure water and it is sprayed from three banks two mounted on sides and one of the top. Final rinse arch is advised if the washing does not have any high pressure arches. This helps to remove the soap from the vehicle.
20 bar High pressure water is sprayed from three banks two mounted on sides and one of the top. Final rinse arch is advised if the washing does not have any high pressure arches. This helps to remove the soap from the vehicle.
This arch sprays disinfectant / deodorizer on the vehicle. The chemical is dosed in to the water using a dosing pump. The specific gravity of the chemical should be close to 1.
This arch has 8 blowers of 7.5 hp each. The blow drying effect may differ based on the shape of the vehicle, atmospheric conditions and speed of vehicles. You may consider having multiple arches based on your fleet requirements.
