KKE 402 3B : Automatic 3 brush Bus Wash Equipment
Equipment Overview
The KKE 402 3B bus wash equipment is fully automatic system. The KKE 402 3B equipment are roll over trolley type systems, where the vehicle is driven in. The equipment use old and proven brush washing technology.
The basic cycle contains three step washing sequence. The first pass is low pressure Pre wash which has wetting chemicals (to be mixed in the water tank ) to wet dirt on the bus surface. The second pass is soap application process by specially developed nozzles by KKE. The third pass is final brushing to remove all the dirt off the bus surface. The horizontal brush follows the contour of the vehicle. A High pressure pump assists the main washing arch for cleaning tyre and rocker panels.
Features
KKE 402 3B Automatic Bus Wash Equipment : Standard Equipment Features
Parts of Equipment :
| The structure is manufactured with heavy rectangular and square tubular sections (as per IS 4923 ), with modular design. The gantry travels on two rails mounted on the floor of the bay. The trolley h is driven by two geared motors. The control of the Trolley can be Automatic via the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) or Manual, using various selections on the Operator’s Panel. The Trolley carries various systems like soap, wax concentrates and it optically senses the vehicle and its dimensions |
| This is special spray arch, equipped with low discharge nozzles. The Pre Wash Arch sprays water initially over the vehicle to soak the hard mud stains, salt deposits, bird droppings, etc. |
| KKE 402 3B Bus Wash System can spray any dirt removing chemical which in chemically neutral. Once the chemical / soap is sprayed, some delay is given to penetrate into the dirt. |

Side brushes wash front, sides and rear of the bus. The rotating brushes are freely suspended and move inward or outward according to the vehicle dimensions. It is moved by drive motor to wash the front and rear surfaces. The construction allows the sensing of pressure over bus surface which maintains the contact with surface. |
| The top brush follows the contour of the bus, washing front, top and rear of the bus. It is controlled through the PLC. As the gantry travels across the vehicle, the horizontal brush, rises or lowers to clean the vehicle surface. |
| Wheel guides help to position the trucks to be washed at correct place at the wash bay, hence ensuring safety of the equipment as well as the truck. |
| The lower part of water spray arch consists of 4 high discharge nozzles on both sides which increases the level of cleaning in those unclean areas. |

Under Chasis wash takes place at the entry of the wash bay. The under chassis wash uses the same water pump, that for the main high pressure arch. It consists of network of special high impact nozzles, which remove dirt effectively from the bottom surface. The Under Chassis Wash System is controlled from the Operator’s Panel. It can set to two modes, they are :- Automatic and When the system is switched to Automatic Mode, the Under Chassis Wash system gets activated automatically as the vehicle enters and is deactivated as soon as the complete truck passes over it. The nozzles, fittings and pipes, all are made up of Stainless steel, which ensure prolonged service life. All the rotating parts use Solid State Teflon bearings, which can run in harshest environments and do not require any lubrication throughout their life. |

Operators Panel is easy to use and understand, user interface panel. You can select desired wash program through selector switch on operator panel. You get information about working cycle, while the equipment is washing the truck by using different programs, selected by the operator. The operator’s panel is easy to use and understand for any person. |
| KKE 402 3B is controlled by Programmable Logic Controller. The components used while manufacturing of control system, undergo a rugged quality control to ensure continuous and reliable service at your end. The control panel is powder coated, to ensure long service life. The control system is equipped with Emergency OFF and other components to facilitate manual control of the equipment by switching ON and OFF, the switches in the Operators panel. The equipment makes use of Optical Switches, Inductive switches to guide the control system in its operation. The different gantry speeds are selectable. |
Optionals
The washable length of KKE 402 3B can be increased depending on your bus fleet. As the length of the equipment increases, the length of wheel guides, rails, pipes, power and control wires increases.
The maximum washing length of the equipment can go upto 23 m; beyond which it will be considered a custom equipment. The length of the bay would depend upon the washable length of the equipment.
